I’m a former corporate high acheiver turned psychotherapist.
I spent 17 years in marketing leadership roles in the consumer packaged goods, banking, and not for profit sectors. During that time, I got a firsthand view of the full spectrum of corporate life – the cultures, politics, team dynamics, and more. I became the person colleagues sought out to confide in, and found immense fulfillment in helping others overcome challenges and thrive.
The COVID-19 pandemic shifted my perspective. Leading a large team remotely and supporting those facing unprecedented challenges, I recognized a crucial gap in mental health services: there weren’t enough therapists who genuinely understood the corporate and entrepreneurial worlds from lived experience. At the same time, I was navigating my own crossroads—balancing a demanding career, parenting two young kids, and seeking a more fulfilling path.
I decided to take a bold step and become the therapist I was looking for. I went back to school, juggling work and studies, and earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology. I trained in a group private practice and a women’s shelter before founding Bright Balance Psychotherapy.
Today, I use my background and training to help professionals overcome challenges like anxiety, burnout, and self-doubt—combining the insight of someone who truly gets it with evidence based psychological interventions.
I look forward to hearing how I can help you.
